What is Shadowrun?
Shadowrun is a world set in the future. The ancient
Mayan calander points that the world resets itself every 5200
years. It just so happen the next reset was planned on December 14, 2011
The giant megacorporations had gone through the "Resource Rush"
and gained Indian reservation land. The Indians foresaw the coming of
magic, and with this new power they gained back their land, and the
west half of America, Canada, and Mexico at the same time.
Humans diverged into other races of elves, dwarves, orks, and trolls.
Magic was wielded by magicians and shamens, and technology combined
man and machine.
Where do Shadowrunners fit in? Whenever someone needs a job but
doesn't want to dirty their hands, its a shadowrun they need and you
they turn to. You do not exist in the world, you have no System
Identification Number, no driver's lincense, no file on a government
database. However the need for your services are high and in well
demand.
It's more than a game, it's a way of life.
